Ok.......so this one is super duper late too but......this year I had the BEST birthday party ever!!! It was sooooo much fun.....my friend Josh put it on for me and it seriously was the best! Here is a pic of me the day before the party decorating his garage.....















then the next day Josh's sister Kiki came and picked me up and took me to get my makeup done.....here is what I looked like the night of the party.....

Wow....ok.....so we are so late posting this!!! For Kayla's Birthday I planned a surprise party for my sis. :-) I made invitations, ordered a cake from Baskin Robbins, bought decorations, etc. Then the day of the party I got the stomach flu! :-( So we had to postpone it. The cake had to some how be hidden in the fridge for a week which I don't know how she did not notice it!!!! Lol.........So finally we were able to have the party!!!! Yeah!!! i was so happy. It was a hit!! All the girls had so much fun. They played High School Musical Karaoke. (My friends and I decided to leave for that...lol..), So here are the pics.....:

This year we went to my uncle and aunt's house for Christmas. We had Christmas morn
ing at our house with my mom, dad, sis, and nana. We had a good time but we had to rush because we had to be at my uncles at 9:00. Here is a few pics of Christmas morning.......

My Trip to Juarez Mexico ~Katherine

Hey!!!! My mom hasn't posted in a REALLY long time but I am posting to catch you all up. On December 4th-8th my dad and I went to Juarez Mexico for a missions trip with our church. Part of the youth group went and we had a blast! While I was there this little girl (she was 8) came to the construction site and she wanted to help. She was the sweetest girl ever and her name was Abi. She lived in Juarez with her sister and 2 brothers. Her older brother was named Kevin and he was blind but he knew how to go everywhere and he was very smart. Anyways Abi and I clicked and she was always around trying to help clean the construction site with us. I wanted to take her home so bad!!!

We played soccer with the kids at a "park" which was so trashy!!!! It made me so grateful for the parks we have in the U.S. They had no grass and their field was made of dirt but in the middle of it there was a HUGE puddle of water and there was no way we could play soccer on that so we tried to fill it with only a little success but enough to play. While we were there, some of my friends that came on the trip painted the girls nails. They loved it so much and it made us feel really good to see the smiles on their faces. At the end of playing soccer, the people in my youth group that came took a picture with a couple of the kids that played. It turned out really cute.

This was the BEST trip I have ever been on and it changed the way I think about my possessions. I am a lot more grateful for things. I definitely want to go again!!!!!!

Bocce Ball Fun!

Last Monday night Mom, Bill, and I had a ball! Literally! We played Bocce Ball with our good friends Marilyn, Vini, and Auntie Helen. We also had fun watching more friends play on the court right next to us. What a fun night! Do I have to admit that Bill and I never won a game the whole night? The big winners? Mom and Auntie Helen...they were on fire!

Can anyone say baldspot??? ~By Katherine

Ok, so today my dog Missi totally freaked me out. We were about to go home when Missi and Skip started playing. When they play they liked to chase each other and chew on each other's necks. Well today Skip missed Missi's neck and got tangled with Missi. She let out a big yelp and kept on crying. She wasn't able to walk so I had to carry her to the car. She was shaking and crying so we decided to take her to the Redwood Emergency Vet near target. When we got there she started putting weight on her paw but was still favoring it. 1 hr later we finally saw a vet and she said that Missi's leg was going to be ok but she has a huge cut on her head that was pretty deep. So the vet shaved Missi's head in a little spot. (just the shavecost $30.00) So now she has a nice bald spot. --Katherine
